Connectix Enhanced Category 5 FTP Patch Leads are designed to exceed the performance requirements of the Enhanced Category 5 Specification.
Connectix Patch Leads are made from Enhanced Category 5 stranded cable and are terminated using high performance modular plugs. Each lead is individually factory tested to the standard to ensure true standard compatibility.
The fully shielded patch leads increase signal isolation and prevent contaminant noise from entering the cabling system.

If we are unable to supply the Cat5e FTP leads, we will send Cat6 FTP Leads instead. The leads are backwards compatible, so will work perfectly fine with a Cat5e FTP System.

The cable fits my sockets perfectly, I especially love the easy release catch that means you can remove it even in tight spots. It's quite a stiff cable however due to its thickness, but is not too thick so it fits cable management solutions (such as cable clips). It is so far performing well with consistent data transfer and is a vast improvement over the far too short ISP provided cable.
